God Blesses, Devil attacks, God Blesses More!

This is a carry over from my last post. We had a tremendous wk God blessed in so many areas.
Our son Samuel surrendered to be a Missionary! He told us that he believes God would have go to Canada. Jason believes God would have him serve him in Missions also.

The devil has really fought this wk. Just give a few things that has happened:
1. I work in our school kitchen, we had 83 lunches to fix, our ovens wouldn't work, our steam table wasn't working properly, and it was an icebox in the school kitchen.
2. We had a problem with our insurance (BIG mess)
3. right now as I'm typing this my computer keeps freezing.
4. We learn my mom in law has stage 3 lung cancer.
5. Tabitha has all of sudden started having severe migraines again. Tonight was so bad we had to leave church early and bring her home.

God still cont. to bless though! Tabitha was put back in the Girls Ensemble! Praise the Lord!!
Even though the weather was horrible we were still able to run 90% of our church buses this morning and 13 precious souls accepted Christ as their Savior! I do not know how this evening went but will add that as soon as I know.

So no matter how hard the old devil fights, God still gets the Victory! AMEN!!!

What a Week!

I tried to get on and post several different times but my schedule and priorities have simply not allowed.
Work every day 8 to 1
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday I had K-3 thru K-5 from 1:25 to 3
Then Wed, tonight and tomorrow we're having a Missions Conference so I'm gone all evening!
It's been a GREAT conference and I LOVE IT!!!

That's just things I have to do away from home.....well.....I won't go into what many of know about when it comes to being wife, mom, doctor, teacher, counselor, disciplinarian, and all the things I've not listed :)

Our Missionaries that are here are:
The Mansfields to England
Bro Willis to Panama (his family was unable to come with him)
The Owens (our own missionaries out of our church) You know I went blank to their country. It's in Africa I can say that much lol
Then the host speaker former Missionary to the Philippine Islands Bro Heidenricht (He's an AWESOME preacher)

In closing please be in prayer for my mom in law as she will be having her PET Scan tomorrow morning.

Missions Conference

Please be in prayer for our Missions Conference, for the students it started today. The actual conference starts tomorrow night.

My Mother in law

Last wk we received a call that there was a chance mom had cancer. This afternoon we received another call indicating that she has stage 3 cell cancer in her lungs.

In talking with my sister in law, Martha, she told us that they will do a complete body scan to see if she has any other cancer. If so where it's located and what stage it's in. However mom has already indicated that if they find more she'll NOT do radiation or chemo, but if it's only in her lungs she may consider chemo.

We won't have much more information on her till she's had these test and scans done. I will keep you posted as how mom (Janet Seavey) is doing.

Of course most importantly is that she'll get saved. We want her healed of the cancer but we'd LOVE even more to see her healed spiritually by accepting Christ as her Saviour.

Thank you everyone who has already begun to pray for those who will pray for my mom in law, Janet Seavey.

This is the day that the Lord hath made I will rejoice and be glad in it.
